Advertising Terms and Conditions

• The selling of the advertising space goes per block of 50x50 pixels, for €25,- per block, the position of these blocks on the board is predefined. You can purchase a selection of one or more of the available blocks.



• The price of a block may be subject to change, depending on how well business goes. If the price changes after your block(s) are paid for you will not get a refund, nor will you be charged anything extra.



• You will never own a piece of this website, what you can purchase is the right to submit an image and a link which will be shown on the block(s) you paid for, provided you do not violate these Terms and Conditions. You are not allowed to pass this right on to others.



• Images and links that are considered adult, obscene, offensive or illegal in any way will not be placed on this website. It is up to me to decide whether an image or link is appropriate for my website. If your image or link is rejected you can either choose to provide an alternative or loose the purchased block(s) and get a refund.



• If the content of the linked website is changed and does no longer comply to these Terms and Conditions, the link will be removed and you will be given the oppurtunity to provide a new link. No refunds are given for the resulting link downtime.



• Once your image and link are accepted and placed on the website, you cannot get a refund.



• The board will grow at the top as more advertisements are sold. Any block's position is relative to the lower left corner of the board, which makes blocks go down relative to the top of the board when rows are added.



• Placed images and links will remain on the website for at least one year starting from the date they were published. The aim is to keep the advertisements on the board as long as possible. However, if after a year the board has grown considerably, parts may be removed or archived. Again, it is up to my judgement or and when this will be done, taking into account that any removed images and links have been placed at least a year prior to removal.



• During the time that your image is shown on the board it is not possible to change either the image or the link. This is unless you feel that you have strong reasons to do so, eg. the website no longer exists, copyright infringements, etc.



• It is possible to have your image and link removed from the board, if for whatever reason you would like to do that. You will not get a refund for this and the blocks can become publically available again.



• While it is possible to place free messages over other free messages, placing them over advertisement blocks is not. Your advertisment will always stay on top.



• The images you provide must have the exact same size as the purchased block(s), 50x50 pixels per block. If you have purchased adjacent blocks you are allowed to provide images larger than 50x50 pixels, as long as they correspond to the size of these blocks as a whole (eg. two horizontally adjacent blocks = one 100x50 pixel image).



• You can provide one image and one link per purchased block.



• The preferred format for submitted images is PNG. GIF and JPEG formats are also allowed, but they will be converted to PNG because the board itself is in PNG format. Please bear in mind that providing images which are not in PNG format might lead to quality deterioration due to conversion. All other image formats are not allowed.



• Animated images are not allowed.



• Links must lead to actual websites only, and they must always begin with 'http://'.



• You must have the authority to provide the images and links for the submitted website. This means that when providing the images and links you must be sure you are not infringing any third party copyright, trademark or other right.



• There might be some downtime for maintainance to the website, but I will try to keep this to a minimum. There will be no refunds given for any website downtime, due to whatever reason.



• Images and links will be placed on the website after the full amount of money for your purchase has been transferred to my bank account. My aim is to have the images and links on the board as soon as possible (at least within 24-48 hours) after receiving the money, in busy times this might not be possible so I won't restrict myself to this.
